This ink is substantially less dark than the other Eon inks, presumably due to being diluted for tech pens. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s a great product, definitely just as good as Ultradraw or Rotring’s ink and at a better price point too. But you’ll need a syringe to put it in your tech pens because it does not come with a dropper. I prefer the velvet squid ink because it is darker, but Abyss is vegan, pH balanced, and says it has no hard metals, there is no such claim on the velvet squid. So if any of those parameters are important to you, you might prefer abyss. If you’re looking for an Ultradraw alternative that is cheaper and more sustainable without sacrificing any quality, I think you’ll be happy with this!
