Printed with Eon’s “Ruler Guides”, these art boards are great for Pencil, Pen & Ink, Brush, and Markers.
With the same ultra-smooth surface as our HD Plate 130# board, these boards are PERFECT for light-boxing or printing blue line pencils to ink over. Eon Plate 100 lb boards are thin enough to run through an inkjet or laser printer, yet durable enough for illustration and inking.
A great board for pencilers and inkers who want to work on professional grade materials.
These boards are also the same stock used by one of the largest comic book publishers in the world. *wink (you know who).

I decided to give Eon Art Boards a try after I watched some YouTube reviews from Ryan Kirby & Jimmy Reyes. I am no professional comic artist but I am so impressed with this paper. As a beginner, inking can be intimidating but the smoothness and brightness of these boards makes the task much easier. The time it took to ship was amazing and was packaged very well. I’m buying the blanks real soon!

I typically ink over blue line on the HD plate, but my penciling process often goes through various stages of refinement using a light box before I light box the final pencils in non-photblue onto the final board (this prevents having to erase and lift ink requiring retouching). This is where the 100# plate boards come in. They offer a much better view of the art below when using a light box than the 130#, while retaining the same great surface I am used to. While my printer can handle 130# boards and 3 ply Bristol, if you aren’t as fortunate, than this is the board for you! And just like all Eon Art Boards, they are bright white offering great contrast to make your inks pop, or give your copic markers the perfect base to make those colors really vivid–all while being one of the most consistently killer boards on the market!

Best art boards to pencil and ink the ink does not Bleed and drys fast. The boards are great for doing ink washes and does not curl or buckle under heavy use.
